My marathon training program prescribed 60-minutes of running today. At 15-minutes it began to rain; at 20-minutes my leg muscles stiffen up and I feel like stopping and getting into my nice comfy car with seat warmers and driving to KFC for some finger licking good chicken. As always these days, my legs give before my cardio; it is going to be a long road before I get my 'legs' back in shape. However, before I stopped, I realized that this was not for me; I echo my brother's sentiment, this race is for my mom. And when I think about that, the pain goes away; tears maybe, but no pain. I don't know where the sweat began and when the rain washed it away but after 60-minutes, I was ready for more.
What counts in battle is what you do when the pain sets in...

Good job Monkey. I'm sure by the end of the training you'll be as fit as old Mike.
I can't believe PiRo is bigger than Money already.
Haha... that was PiRo's first day at the beach. She lovd it. we were trying to get her to play with the water, but I was the only one ended up getting wet.
Allison, if u leave Money with me for a week, she'll probably gain weight too :
I urge you to keep Money away from Kaini... she is sneaky and likes to feed weird things to PiRo... sneaky Kaini... sneaky...
LOL, "sneaky sneaky"! like in Mr. Deeds. Plump puppies are so cute tho!
Perhaps instead of driving to the KFC, make it your destination for your run! Is there one nearby?
Since I'm not working anymore, I took Money for a 2 hr walk every morning. I think she lost weight again. Maybe I should send Money to K and P for a while.
